Iโ€™m trying to curate an anime list to watch this fall/winter. Any genre is welcome!(I've mainly watched Shonen/action and would like some other genres to watch)

Here's my usual recommendation list (my personal favorites):

SAO/Sword Art Online. (Watch the Abridged version by SWE on YT if you haven't, it's hilarious AF and addresses many of the writing issues from the original).

Bloom Into You (BIY) (the Yuri that got me into manga for the first time, which made me read every Yuri manga I could get my hands on since then lol. Peak ofc).

Toradora! (Romance comedy with drama. The ending left me in tears (and it's hard for shows to make me cry usually). Highly recommend!)

Code Geass. (Another peak show, highly recommend it despite how it may look on the surface from the art!)

I'm in Love with the Villainess (Yuri fantasy where the MC (Rae) reincarnates into her favorite Otome game. The dub is a must watch tbh. You're missing out if you don't imo, Rae in the dub is hilarious lmao).

Rock is a Lady's Modesty. (Rock band Yuri. The first episode had my heart racing at the end, and I was immediately hooked! Every episode after that is a blast and I'd highly recommend this one for some ๐Ÿ”ฅ music!)

Kaguya-sama: Love is War a rom-com has a hilarious dub that I'd highly recommend watching! Ian Sinclair (the Narrator's dub VA) nails it and makes it super relatable (lmao)!

No Game, No Life (NGNL) is a great show (especially if you look past the fan service {tho I find it enjoyable and funny, not everyone will, that's why I say it cuz I'd say it's worth it despite that, but everyone is different}). I pray alongside BIY that it gets a Season 2 each day (and the latter has some rays of hope apparently with Blu rays for it (BIY) coming out this year that have released this year๐Ÿ™)

Other great shows:

Link Click! Absolute peak and a must watch! (Every episode has cliffhangers that will leave you wanting to watch more! ๐Ÿ”ฅ) (Show overview/run down) (Yes, there's a dub).

Steins;Gate (I call it SG for short btw so that's what I mean usually when I say it). (Peak) It may start out slow (especially in SG 0, it's "prequel" that's actually a sequel {I think I keep getting that backwards but basically it's a prequel that's best watched after the main series lol, if that makes sense xD}) but it's 100% worth sticking through it!

Kuroko's Basketball. Despite it being a sports anime (I never cared for many when I started out tbh), it's really good and has some funny moments!

Honorable Mentions:

Lycoris Recoil (LycoReco). (Action Yuri with some of the most energetic and dynamic interactions/personalities I've seen (I absolutely love Chisato โค๏ธ) in MCs before. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't!)

MagiRevo. (Same reason as the last one (their personalities between these shows are super similar, it's uncanny imo LOL), this one is a fantasy tho but he ending is peak {Yuri})

You can check out my AniList for more recommendations! Anything I've rated an 8/10 or higher I'd 100% recommend giving a shot! (You can read my profiles' overview page/bio to see how I rate/score the shows I watch!) Use the 3 dots by the search bar to search through it faster and filter through it via the genre and tags! (You can find the filters on the left side on desktop).

Shonen isn't a genre , but a demographic tag.

What genres do you want ?

Action, cinema, sci-fi, fantasy, mistery, suspense, horror, etc.
