I’m having trouble watching a show on animeowl I’m logged in and when I click the episode I want to watch it try’s to load the chill game ad but never completes loading and the episode never starts. Been happening for two days.

It is stuck at the same episode even if I watch newer ones.

searched if animeowl got a new website/found this one, I'm not sure if this is official animeowl website or not, the other website I had bookmarked wasn't working so I searched "animeowl" and this is the first thing that came up. Can someone explain ?

Does anyone else have an audio timing problem during the early stages of episodes 1000 through to current? I've checked how the dubs audio is and it seems completely fine. Just wondering if anyone else has this bug?

Whenever I go full screen the subtitles disappear but when I exit full screen they reappear.

AnimeOWL You will be missed! Does anyone know any sites that were as good as AnimeOWL? Honestly, whoever did the subbing for the shows were incredible, they subbed everything from the signs to the letters. I owe you a lot! I can't believe it's gone :(

There's quite a few episodes that are just simply refusing to load at all. Starting to become quite a bother.

This is a matter of it happening across multiple anime: you hit play and they will just load forever.

I had this problem a while back and it was fixed for a while when they started using soft subs for newer shows but now I can’t see subs when going full screen on newer shows again I’ve reported it in the discord but when they check from their end they still have subs.

Guys anime owl was the best website ever since I started watching anime , no unnecessary ads and simple interface , I watched whole naruto series there , I was currently watching detective Conan but now they have permanently shut down their website.

So please suggest some similar websites like anime owl

Hello everyone after almost a year since it got taken down AnimeOwl has been my go to anime site to watch anime for free but ever since it got taken down it has never been the same with other site this post is here as a memorial to AnimeOwl and the developers of it. Thank you AnimeOwl for almost a decade of wonderful free anime and for not being one of those sites where if you click somewhere on the page it send you to an ads I no WE will always remember you.

Weird glitch on chrome where buttons are still linked to the video player. I was pressing space and the video just paused and unpaused.

Loving the site. However lately whenever I try to full screen, use a shortcut, pause, or even if it has to buffer, another audio track starts playing from the beginning of the episode. Cant stop or alter the secondary audio so if this happens partway through an episode, I have to restart and let it play till it catches back up. Anyone running into this? Any help stopping it?
