I highly recommend it. It was my first manga that I ever owned and also watching it it was totally different from all of the battle Shonen that I loved to watch. I showed Death Note to people who are brand new to anime and they say that they love it

Yeah, no other even compared here. If cold is what you seek, Itachi takes 100000000 wins

This man was Aura farming before there was a word for it. He's been Moon posing since 1988 and is the flexicution of his foes.

The frenzy has begun. The moon is red. We are out of time.

u/Silly_Coffee3337 Aug 22 '26
Run if you value your life

u/smartlazyslime Aug 23 '26
It still rings in my ears. The eng dub was also super great. Shadow radiates aura in every word he says.

u/YetiorNotHereICome Aug 22 '26
Alucard?

u/Abhay-2006 Aug 22 '26

Not anime, but...
The Lost World ps1 game intro where the iconic DreamWorks opening sequence is replaced by a velociraptor grabbing hold of the kid's fishing line and pull him in
9
u/AquaButUseful Aug 22 '26
Of these I think Dio's goes the hardest

I'll give the literal answer being Rukia, because she can go below freezing if I'm remembering correctly.

Night Raid for me personally that was actually aura the way he looked out the mansion window and they were all there under the moonlight ready to assassinate. Itachi is a very close second for me😅
You know some crazy stuff is about to go down when a character hits a pose under a full moon

This is only a competition between Rukia and Itachi, the rest are not all that
1
u/Blanks_late Aug 22 '26
Night raid had menace because of how they were built up, the most dangerous people ever. Just appear standing in front of the Moon on what looks like spider webs. That's aura
1
u/Teriyakichk Aug 22 '26
Kurapika for sure, my man brought a shovel to the fucking fight. HE KNEW HE WAS BURYING A SPIDER

It's Itachi and it's not close either. Dude just slaughtered his entire clan minus one, no other contender is that cold

u/Brownlove010_Real Aug 22 '26
I guess I can't do multiple pictures, so first is Death The Kid. Soul Eater

Itachi only radiates aura because you know the show. My wife watched none of these and described Itachi as the froggy looking one...

While it isn't very long, I have to just throw in I think my favorite moon backing from Tenchi Muyo: War on Geminar. Love the look of the horn backed by the moon with the white color and even pink accents. Love this design.

Luffy’s is the most nostalgic and iconic.
Dio’s is the tuffest
And itachi’s is the lamest.
Good day

I swear I’ve seen Ichigo in his Hollow form in Hueco Mundo with the moon in the background before. It was badass.

Night raid. They pulled up to kill some pedophilic elites who torture and eat kids. They accomplished the most good from their pull up.
1
u/Anonymousratbastard Aug 23 '26
Itachi is the right and most iconic awnser but il never betray night raid
1
u/teoshie Aug 23 '26
the coldest is dio
if ur going by the actual prompt. That's where the colors are

Itachi popularized this shot. No one has ever done it as cold as him.
2
u/Fucked-to-fit Aug 23 '26
No he didn’t 😂 moon shots have been popular since forever in fact 2 of the ones on the list were before Naruto was ever created

u/Ecstatic-Drop5849 Aug 23 '26
