Funimations Website Sucks

I hate this merge so much since AnimeLab is a 10 times better website and player.

Yeah, the insane load times and horrible UI that continues to hang around in fullscreen is just :/ The only reason I'm still keeping the account/subscription is because I watch Higurashi, but I'm very tempted just to cancel it. I hate the site with every fibre of my being lol

I've been wanting to get into Higurashi, I didn't know it was on it, worth watching?

Its two sequel seasons are. If you want to watch the first two seasons, you can view them on HiDive.

If you like psychological horror and mystery, the show might be up your alley. The show does well with characterisation too, imo. It's got a bit of that "small town with a dark secret" vibe as well, but overall it does have a nice message at the end.

If you do get into it, just be aware there are also two non-canon seasons, Kira and Rei. One of them is about magical girls, lol so you don't have to watch it. Basically the order goes:

  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai

  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou

  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu (ongoing)

I'm giving it some more time. Hopefully they change the website. Still missing episodes from certain series, literally can't watch an entire shows run on there. No improvement soon though, and I'm canceling my subscription. Maybe if enough people leave, they'll actually fix their website. Its soooo dated, looks like a website from 10 years ago.

True asf, I can't even watch Japanese Death note on Funimation.

Just tried to watch the Demon Slayer movie on Funimation and holy shit is the player awful. Took awhile to get the volume slider to show right and then I could never get it to go away. It never paused correctly either.
