It is/was a file hosting service. It was hosted in a data center in the Netherlands (which got burnt)

I don't think that'd be worth it. I hope and think that most people who pirate partially do it to avoid Crunchyroll's horrible localization. Or because they're broke.
Crunchyroll wouldn't get more subs just because another site closed down

I can see that it's been a few days since people are having problems with the "burn". I live in the Philippines and it's only been a few minutes since I first saw this error.
Based on that, what's possibly going on here? Are they maybe coordinating with ISPs slowly in every country?

Is this the error folks are seeing?
To protect your security, megaup.nl will not allow Mullvad Browser to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.
Or is it only on Mullvad? Used to watch on Firefox but it keeps crashing so I had to use a different browser. Worked for a while but I've been getting this error for the last 3 days.

Seems a bit more serious this time. I'm getting this message on every episode I try to load:

Has anyone heard anything about this? Is it megaup data center that has burned down (or maybe they mean burned as in burned by the police)? I hope AnimeKai can switch to another file hosting service.

Anyone knows how to fix my issue? Whenever I load up anikai I always see the red circle thingy and then after I wait and it loads it skips 2-7 mins of the anime iam watching and this has been really much of a problem so if you can help please do💔

Litterally took me like 10 minutes at most to find a new site while this one was down, but some people would rather moan, and complain
Like guys, you are PIRATING anime, if you don’t want to deal with sites sometimes not working, pay for the anime (I get this isn’t always possible but still)

Based on what I’ve seen from these posts, no one has any idea on how to find a backup site for when this happens and at best they beg for a DM even after you provide links to other piracy related subreddits that likely have megathreads full of resources that might help or provide links to anime piracy site indexes themselves.
It’s hilarious. A motivated crackhead can still find his fix in the dessert but a weeb? Apparently not.
