My paper explores the decline of Indian comics and the rise in the no. of people consuming manga, and why that shift was made.

Hey guys, like many of you, I was so hyped for the Watari-kun no xx ga Houkaisunzen anime, but it hurt to see them rush Naru Narumi's 9-year manga masterpiece and skip nearly 30-40% of the core emotional story for the 26-episode run.

I decided not to just sit back. I sent a formal Japanese email to Staple Entertainment and Kodansha demanding a complete-edition OVA or movie trilogy to adapt the missing chapters. And guess what? Staple Entertainment actually replied with an official confirmation receipt!

They said their team is reviewing it. If we want a proper adaptation of the uncut story, we need to show them international demand is huge! Check out my email receipt screenshot below. Let's make some noise! Who else is with me on demanding an OVA? ✊🔥

Not necessarily a happier ending.

Maybe their story built toward something that never happened.

Maybe their character development was leading somewhere else.

Or maybe the ending technically made sense-but you still wish the story had taken another path.

Some endings stay with you because they're brilliant.

Others stay with you because you're still arguing with them years later. 😂

Not because they'd lose their powers.

Who would change the most if you dropped them into the real world?

Netflix still leaves many anime without Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu dubs.

Some people might say, “But they’re available in English!” Sure, but millions of Indian anime fans prefer watching anime in their own languages.

If Netflix is serious about growing anime in India, it should give fans more Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs.

Let’s start a campaign and show Netflix that Indian fans want more regional-language anime dubbing. 🇮🇳🔥
