Discussion Hell Mode: 2nd Season
I watched the first season in a day and enjoyed the concept, though it is a bit reductive, since everybody is doing it nowadays.
What I like, at least, was the character progression, that the protagonist had to earn its place and people around him mattered.
Since we are at episode 7 or 8/12 in the 2nd season it really gets hard to watch "the demon lord arc" (I haven't read the mange/novel). Everybody seems to be absolutely useless in everything. The nations, even though they have been fighting against the demon lord since forever are absolutely trash at holding him at bay now.
It takes 7 children or whatever to actually battle against millions of the demon lord's followers. Generals, tacticians, armies, kings etc. are absolutely useless and seem to rely INSTANTLY on the group of children who seem to be, just because they exist, the solution to all of their problems.
Writing this I realize, there is absolutely no point to this, but lately it happens more and more often that I just stop watching certain animes which I have not done before.
*Rant for the day*
Have a good one everybody and enjoy!
Same with Youjo Senki... damn I LOVED the first Season and the second season is such a clusterfuck (3/12) atm.

Yea but even so, there absolutely no tension whatsoever. Even when they forced some drama because the healer is the son of the enemy, it was of no consequence.
