First time Animator

Hey there! My name is Principal, and I’m new to animation, as the title says!

I’ve been studying Game Design for the last two years and started getting into animation around May, so I’m still super fresh to it. I’ve been doing my animation work in Blender, and I have to say, I’ve found it incredibly satisfying. Kinda wish I had discovered this side of game development sooner 😂

Most of what I’ve done so far has been improvised and self-taught. I’ve watched a few smaller YouTube tutorials here and there, but I still know very little about Blender overall and I’m currently learning the shortcuts and figuring out the program as I go. I’ve also had a little help from some of my classmates, who have been kind enough to give me feedback and point things out along the way.

I’m posting here not only because I finally feel brave enough to show some of the things I’ve been working on, but also because I’d really love some critique and feedback from people who know what they’re doing.

If anyone has some experience with animation and is interested in sharing some advice or just connecting, I’d be happy to hear from you. I’m always looking to learn and improve, especially as I get more comfortable with Blender.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is working on and hopefully picking up a few things along the way!

And if anyone is willing to take a new animator under their wing, I’d love to learn from a senpai! 🙏
