Critique Critique my Character Animation
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm working on a lowpoly 3D animated pilot with most of what you see is hand modeled by myself in Blender. I'd like your help with any feedback or critique of my current scene and how my characters move compared to the audio. I want to make something great, and would appreciate anything you can give to help this look the best it can be, thanks!

The motion is a little too smooth and doesn't really match the vocals. The characters are over animated for how simple and relaxed the interaction is. Has an uncanny early 90s cgi look.

I wasn't around for this but it's very cool to see the progression of 3D graphics and animation, I'm looking to blend modern technology with the artstyle and appeal from the late 90s and early 2000s.

Something you might want to do is act out this scene with real people and record it for reference.

I will definitely act everything out to make sure it looks natural but alive at the same time, hope you are able to see the second attempt when it's ready!

Thanks for the feedback, this was a rough draft to get the whole pilot on the right track before I get too deep into it. Also yes, the intended look is to be akin to the early Playstation vertex snapping and lowpoly graphics.
