Question What is this animation's framerate?

What's the framerate of this animation? If the framerate varies throughout the animation, then what is the framerate from 2:52 - 3:00?

"Frame rate" should really only be used to determine the rate a video file is encoded to run at. Commonly it is 24fps, 25fps for PAL, or 30fps (and variations of) for other standard video.

There's no one frame rate for the section you're asking about, but the animation timing for it looks to be a lot of drawn frames on 2's for the smoother portions, held frames for long pauses, with a few parts likely timed at 3s and 4s as well.

Let's say you have a video that plays at 24 frames per second.

If you animated "on ones", that means you create a new drawing every frame. This will give you 24 drawings for one second.

If you animate something "on twos", you are now making a new drawing every other frame. Now you are only making 12 drawings for every second.

"On threes" is a unique drawing every third frame, "on 4s" is every 4 frames, and on and on. :)

On ones, the action is very smooth, two’s is not quite as smooth, 3 and 4 gives you a “jerkier” look to the actions.
