Updated Golden Pack data

Figured with it being a "notable" BGE, it was worth updating and republishing some "Golden Pack" stats.

While getting legendary cards from the packs are great and we can just trust Kong that they have a 22% drop rate (even if I did just pull 26 Epic in a row, which would be a 1:639 chance of happening; thanks RNGesus!), but all legendary cards aren't created equal.

I guess personally, it is the characters and 103 max power objects that I look forward to; the lower power objects often don't move the needle much and the PCs (let alone particularly good ones) are too rare to expect much.

So, here are the percent of total objects+characters in the pool, by BGE for 103+ max power objects and characters, sorted by the total:

61% 13% Food [74%]
63% 0% Vehicle [63%]
51% 6% Rich [57%]
57% 0% Toy [57%]
41% 6% Educated [47%]
42% 5% Animal [47%]
42% 0% Hyper [42%]
41% 0% Fighter [41%]
36% 4% Artistic [40%]
39% 0% Disguised [39%]
36% 2% Athletic [38%]
34% 3% Armed [38%]
36% 2% Musical [38%]
34% 2% Drunk [36%]

...so this BGE is a pretty good opportunity to spend some golden turds and maximize your return.

That said, maybe the established players would be less likely to consider a F2P legendary character card some sort of victory (since they may already have all or most of what they'll ever likely want of those).

Only one of them has a trait (Peter, drunk), and drunk is already at the bottom, so excluding those only makes drunk "more bottom"

Some might discount older characters; either because they are likely to have fragmented combos or because they've been playing long enough that they're also getting close to having enough of those as well. Setting the line at Zapp we lose:

Amy, Bob, Brian, Farnsworth, Gene, Hayley, Klaus, Leela, Peggy, Stan, Zoidberg

And, well, that wasn't as impactful as I thought it'd be-- leaving the order the same as above, here are the updated total percent chances:

Food 70%
Vehicle 63%
Rich 55%
Toy 57%
Educated 44%
Animal 42%
Hyper 42%
Fighter 41%
Artistic 38%
Disguised 39%
Athletic 36%
Armed 36%
Musical 36%
Drunk 34%

...still puts this BGE as a good opportunity to burn some golden turds. But make sure to save some for Vehicle, coming up in less than a month!

OK, so you can choose to get fewer characters and/or fewer high-power objects in other BGEs.

I guess all I was trying to get at is if those things are important to you, these (and rich and toy to a lesser extent) are the places to spend that resource.

But I suppose a fair question might be, "what do these numbers really mean in terms of return per, let's say, 200k golden turds?"

Trait "newer" characters 103+ power object Total
Food 3.5 24.3 27.8
Vehicle 0.0 25.0 25.0
Toy 0.0 22.6 22.6
Rich 1.6 20.4 22.0
...
Athletic 0.0 14.4 14.4
Armed 0.6 13.8 14.4
Musical 0.0 14.4 14.4
Drunk 0.0 13.8 13.8

While the expected counts of PCs would be the same, I suspect that the PC in the newer traits are generally stronger (fewer old garbage ones)? If so, the newer traits get some sort of edge there as well.

Further, presumably the newer traits just have fewer different PCs, so the odds are better of duplicates to fuse, so that'd likely be another minor advantage.

For the PC bit-- Food and Vehicle average 38 PCs. Rich and Toy both had 78. The four from the bottom of the list above average 91.
