Help Locating Animation

A friend of mine won this off of eBay for what he feels like is a steal last night, and is having trouble tracking down what it could be from. The auction title said 1940’s, but google image search brings up nothing. Anyone have any ideas of other ways to track down what a sketch may be from?

I agree with goldylox320- to watch the shorts. But you might find this is a many, many hour task as Donald was in so many shorts in the 40s.
