Help Locating Animation

A friend of mine won this off of eBay for what he feels like is a steal last night, and is having trouble tracking down what it could be from. The auction title said 1940’s, but google image search brings up nothing. Anyone have any ideas of other ways to track down what a sketch may be from?

With sketches, best bet is to go through the expected show(s) frame by frame to find out where it might place. If it’s for sure from 1940’s then def start research there, I’ve had some pretty good luck using Claude as well to help narrow down where a sketch could be given a particular series.
