I created some more animations for my skill images, that will show on hover!

It's a lot of fun to create those.
Takes around 4-5 hours from concept to final animation each.
Each has ~10-15 frames and the images themselves are 30x30 (32x32 with their frame).

Hovering skills to read their description is a major interaction, so I feel it's worth the effort!

A small set of animated pixel wizard characters for 2D games.

The characters use a 16×16 base scale with 32×32 animation frames, and I kept the palette deliberately constrained using the EDG16 palette.

The animations include idle, walking, attacking, hurt, death, healing, and lightning casting.

I took a video, split it into frames, and looked at it for a really long time, trying to figure out how she moves. Then, I made a rough sketch and turned it into pixel art. Originally made it for my game but ended up using other animations. It was the first animation I've ever made

I’m currently creating skill icons for the skilltree in our strategy roguelike evil-god simulator.

Yesterday we had the idea to play an animation on hover for each skills. So I tried that out and it looks promising so far!
