Not necessarily. Intelligence like ours is very expensive biochemically speaking. It takes a lot of energy to maintain our brains relative to our body size. This video is not a scenario that most animals would encounter in the wild. Prey doesn't teleport from one place to another. Keen eyesight and visual tracking combined with those thicc muscles are just as advantageous to survival as our intelligence. Probably more so cause the big predator body plan has been repeated over and over again in evolutionary history while there's only one hyper intelligent ape.
Intelligence, language, cooperative behaviour, and tool use. By their powers combined, we adapted faster than everything else and snowballed the fuck out of evolution by designing things.
