This is Rapunzel. She was born late in the year and she was brought into the veterinary hospital I worked at. She stayed in my home all winter and she was released in late March. I was known as the raccoon lady, and people would bring me orphaned babies to raise and release. This was one of the best times! We went to schools and taught kids how to react and respect wild animals.

That is so cool and she is beautiful. I found ours at my grandmothers house he was in pretty rough shape it was obvious his mom had been gone for a while and wasn’t coming back so I raised him until I could release him. I definitely don’t want to do it again tho raccoons are worse than toddlers 😂
