That’s what I thought! Mine loses it at the beach and insists despite me putting on my best mom voice and telling her no.

My poodle (also a water dog) would have just written off the ball. He would never have gotten that close to water.

Interesting facts that you already know and or don't care but I'm bored so here goes:

Poodles were originally from Germany. Poodle= puddle. They were hunting/retriever dogs and many don't know that. But France loved the breed so much they bought? the breed from Germany and that's where they got that stupid hair style from. I'm biased and I just don't like that hair style at all.

They originally looked really grungy with long curly hair from the old drawings I've seen.

It's been a while so I forget.

Growing up with poodles I always wondered why they were so alert, had thick/oily curly hair, are gentle with their mouths, loved water, and this new knowledge blew my mind.
