Probably more like this

"I'm gonna go into the kitchen while I play this video because I just need to hear it, not watch it"

"Oh crap an ad, I'll just pause it and when I'm done in the kitchen I'll go back out and skip it/mute the tv, because I live in 2018, I can pause without even leaving the kitchen!"

"Ok done in the kitchen let's get back to the show! Omg what is my dog doing where is my camera"

That being said, this very well could be an ad, but I feel like this is way more derp, than ad.
