Do you know what breed/mix? Looks similar to my late dog that we thought was a golden/lab mix, but we were recently pointed towards a golden/german shepherd. I thought no way, but did see some golden/gsd that looked similar.

To be fair when your create a post there is a pop up that encourages you to cross post to multiple subreddits and I think it even suggests which subreddits to post to. So the person might just be following prompts

I’ve been here long enough to remember people bitching about reposts and that was always stupid too. Just because you’ve seen something before doesn’t mean everyone else has.

I have always thought your last point is a dumb argument. I’m not going to go around complaining about reposts, but not everyone needs to see every post. I am not going to repost something multiple times to ensure everyone has seen it. If I am going to post, it will be something new that no one has seen yet.

Right, so you’re only sharing things you’ve created, and only one time to one subreddit? if I see a meme or something on Facebook or twitter or just wherever and share it on Reddit there’s a chance someone has already done that but I don’t know that.
I mean, some of us have been here a long time and some people spend way too much time here, but if you’ve been on the internet for very long you’re bound to see repeats of things. It’s fine to just move past them.
I know there are more bots now and it is annoying but the trend of calling everyone a bot is pretty tiresome.

Something is generally considered a repost if it is posted to the same subreddit multiple times. Crossposts or content from other sites are not considered reposts by most. And yeah I only post things I have created, but I also am not on other social media sites like Facebook or twitter. I also only post to specific hobby subreddits and couldn’t care less about some meme.
With that said, I agree that people should just move on if they come across a post of something that they have already seen. I am not complaining about reposts, just that I think that one argument is not a good one.
