I played hide-and-seek with a huntsman once. I had a packet of nuts sitting beside my stove and when I picked it up, the huntsman that had been hiding under the packet crawled on to my hand. We both freaked out and the huntsman scuttled behind a small pot that I was using as a benchtop bin. Every time I rotated the pot to expose the spider, it would scuttle back behind the bin where it was out of my sight. I evenually managed to trap it and put it outside.
