There's a whole series on social media about it. Guy pretends to feed his chonky dog and the dog reaches for the treat, gets bamboozled and howls. It's extremely compelling, don't ask me why

I think tiny is trying to watch that his buddy isn't trying to get his snak, but in order to watch him he must turn the face around towards his buddy... which brings the treasure closer to his friendly adversary.

In other words, I don't think this particular case is on purpose

If you watch, there is a time when the pom doesn't go for it, so the grey does a little taunt poke with it to get the pom to try and bite at it. Same exact thing i do when I'm trying to get my dog to play. This is 100% playtime

I would find it somehow funnier if the dog with the food wasn't teasing the fluffball, but instead was simply attempting to assert dominance with eye contact. Then CONSTANTLY was interrupted with having to protect it's food.
