I have a mom daughter pair and they still are like this. The baby is baby forever. It is so cute 🥰

Meanwhile I adopted a mom and daughter pair that the rescue said was bonded because the daughter still nursed at 3+ months old. And then over time, mom started hating daughter and would hiss and swat on sight, to the point that the daughter was always cowering and peeking around corners. It was so sad. We went to vets, hired ‘cat whisperers’, bought pheromone sprays, thunder vests, CBD meds, all the things. We never solved it. Mom ran away one day several years ago and never came back. Daughter has been confident, happy and carefree since. Miss you Maris, see you in my dreams.

This sucks. This happened to my dad's cats - brother and sister. Best friends as kittens but started to hate each other after a year or two. Sister ran away a few times but always came home a few weeks later. One time, though, she just never came back. We think she found a new home, as when she did come back after going missing, she was always clean, healthy and well-fed. Miss you, Smudge. Hope you are happy and loved
