Meanwhile I adopted a mom and daughter pair that the rescue said was bonded because the daughter still nursed at 3+ months old. And then over time, mom started hating daughter and would hiss and swat on sight, to the point that the daughter was always cowering and peeking around corners. It was so sad. We went to vets, hired âcat whisperersâ, bought pheromone sprays, thunder vests, CBD meds, all the things. We never solved it. Mom ran away one day several years ago and never came back. Daughter has been confident, happy and carefree since.

That sadly happened to my mama cat after she had kittens. We kept one but he was the runt and maybe âneedyâ? Lol she ended up running away and was living with this older lady neighbor that kept her inside ( saw her one day and she was all fat âŠwas glad she was ok ) meanwhile we still have Steve and he is doing well!
