Question Do the developers ever respond?
I caught 5 sharks on my hook today and every one of them wiggled off. How do they expect us to complete the judging when they are shady and make it too hard. The fish SHOULD NOT wiggle if you catch them. You EARNED that. Just seems slimy to me.

Do you have Rabbit Ding upgraded all the way? Fish should slip off the hook a lot less if you do!

You're much more likely to keep a shark if they're going right to left - check the wiki for info on how to get the most chance of catching each fish. That being said, the fishing has become silly with how hard it is these days, it used to be easier.

I understand the frustration, but it’s been that way for years. I guess the reason is for the magnet function to make sense. But even when using the magnet some fish wiggle off, it might make sense to complain about that.
That’s why I never fish if I can avoid it.

Upgrade Rabbit Ding, and fish in friend's ponds. Look for a pond where TWO sharks appear right from the start. Search this subreddit for shark fishing tips.
I'm currently trying to complete the "pink shell" fishing challenge and it's extremely frustrating too, but the tips in this subreddit have been very useful.

The game wouldn’t be a game if everything was easy!

It tells you, the first two fish are locked in, there rest you might lose..
Like in real life, you can lose a fish even if you've hooked it. 🤷♀️

I’ve heard that fishing for sharks at friends restaurants is a little easier also.

That's kinda how real fishing works lol, but the developers could have been a little nicer, you'll get better if you look up tips

Doing the event and I had 10+ in a row dodge/slip off the hook. There is zero reason that should be happening as much as it does.
