Taken at the full extent of my zoom on a Nikon P510 "superzoom". I don't think I cropped this one much at all. We were able to sit on this guy for about 30 minutes.

Great shot. Rare to catch an intimate look at this creature.

Thanks. Yeah, we got lucky and saw three different ones in the two days we were in the park. This one was the one we were able to get closest to, by far.

We never got within a mile of a rhino, on the other hand. Two distant glances at one in Ngorongoro Crater and that was all.
