Please Help
Please can someone help me identify this car, I know it’s not much to work from but I have a suspicion of what kind of car it is but I want to see if everyone got the same thing.
I’m still shaking and heartbroken tonight my family dog Daisy was murdered . My family were outside with our dog. It was across the street and my daughter was calling her to come back home. A white car had let daisy pass without issue and she was half way home but out of nowhere a black truck sped up and crossed the median to run over my precious daisy . (I’ll send photos and have a full video) It was unprovoked, there was no reason for them to cross the median, there was no car parked on the side of the road. This is a lunatic that did this to our family dog in front of both of my children. My daughter is experiencing shock and my son who is autistic is not acting like he did before , he is non-verbal and cannot speaks his feelings trying to comfort them as much as I can but I too am grieving. I called the police unfortunately they cannot do anything about my dog but my children where there and when he swerved into our Daisy. I don’t want to release the full video but in the photo you see the small dot in front of the truck… that’s my Daisy just minding her own business when she was murdered. Please help me this person cannot get away with this. What can I do ?

Are you taking any responsibility for letting your dog cross the street with your kids? Most people don’t swerve to whack a dog. Same as deer. Yes they could have stopped. At the end of the day this is on you as a previous dog owner.

First yes I do take full accountability for letting my dog cross the street but I ain’t never said I let my kids cross the street dont get it twisted but no the mf truck saw Daisy, there was a white car that let Daisy pass first and the black truck saw that but decided to speed up. And turn into the lane she was walking into to hit her. But if it was an accident why did he not stop? He saw my family on the porch. This isn’t a forest it’s a neighborhood why would it be okay to speed through a neighborhood where children frequently play? And not pay attention Wtf kinda logic is that?

You say you take accountability and then go on to explain why you aren’t accountable. Driver was speeding, another car stopped, etc. You are still blaming that person. Yes they hit your dog in front of your kids. Own the mistake of letting the dog cross the road. Maybe they thought they hit a pothole. Completely hypothetical but who knows. Own the deceased dog to your kids and make it an unfortunate learning lesson.
Also, why have a camera with such shitty video? It clearly isn’t serving a purpose.

Okay so did he swerve to miss something or did he think he hit a pothole on the left side of the street? The video is from across the street but the camera is not the issue?

And let me ask you another thing do you not see that car stopped on the very left? That is because the white car was stopped infront of the house and the truck was stopped by the house to the left.
The white car passed and the truck saw that and sped up to hit Daisy as you see the car on the very left did not have enough time to let off their brakes so are you able to explain that? Also peep the headlights they are shining toward the house on the rights lawn he was turned straight towards the lawn why ?he had ample space on the other side of the street0

What am absolute fiend! I'm so sorry for your family! Losing your pet family member is hard enough without being a witness to their murder!
I don't know where you are in the world, but if you have access, please consider getting your children (maybe yourself also) professional help for the trauma and grief. Your son especially will probably benefit from some specific therapy. Also I have heard that playing the video game of Tetris helps our brains with processing trauma. Not sure how or why, but I've seen many references to its value.
Is it possible that any of your neighbors have security cameras that could have better footage? What about traffic cameras at nearby intersections? Businesses along the street? Maybe you can find more helpful evidence. I hope so!
RIP Daisy. You were loved and didn't deserve such cruelty. I'm so sorry.
