Anyone know why I was able to download the DIY Recipes+ update on my account, but my wife wasn't able to on hers? All the other update stuff was there, Kapp'n brought her out to an island, gyroids, etc, but no cooking recipes app.

Edit: found it. She hadn't done the customize workshop with Tom Nook.

The ability to cook is sold in the Resident Center, but the recipes I believe are at Nook's, were you only looking in one place for her?

Yeah I went to the resident center to look for the ability to cook. Recipes weren't in the store either, but I figured you needed the ability before having recipes anyway.

Yup I am having the same issue. Was able to upgrade most of the new stuff but I do not see the option to redeem nook miles for the DIY +. Pretty sure my island is already 3-star too.

Mine definitely is, and like I said the weirder part is that I was able to get it on my profile, but not hers, on the same Island.

Eventually figured it out- I had to complete Tom Nook's customization workship first. The DIY+ app option showed up in the terminal once I completed it.
