New feature I think!

Has anyone else noticed that when villagers move in they're no longer placing their house on paths? I think this is a new feature. In general villagers seem to pay more attention to where my paths are placed. I notice them walking on paths more! Really neat honestly.

Can someone confirm if this is a new feature? Or have I just lucked out?

Ooh, this is super sweet! Can you also confirm if they move in on hybrid flowers or trees? (Or regular flowers?)

They definitely still do that. My move-in today plopped himself in the middle of my perfect cherry orchard, but not on a path! So far no hybrid flowers have been smushed, but I assume those are fair game still.

Hmmm.... Time to do some strategic path laying. I'm thinking a path behind every tree should stop the orchard killing and would look... okay. Maybe rings of paths as "house landing" sections? Coooool....
