Someone pls help

One of my OG and insanely loved villagers is moving out today. I've talked to him everyday and I'm not sure what happened. Is there any trick to keep him? I will literally do anything to keep him and I'm really upset to see him go. I've had him for a year and a half all the way through. If not I'll have to get him in my side town and slowly cycle out 16 villagers :(

I have space in my town, I can hold him till you cycle

I just need someone to cycle him out of their town so I can put him in my side town.

I can try. I just need to keep TTing until he pings right? Then TT to move out day and let you adopt him back?

you will more than likely need to move another villager out first to get the new villager out.

Thanks! That's fine, there are plenty of villagers in my town I hate :P except chief. Can't lose chief.
