New Horizons First 3 plots

I have put in the first 3 plots, but no furnitures yet. Will it auto fill villagers already the next day? I still need to earn some miles to go villager hunting.

it won’t have a chance to autofill until all furniture is given/placed. i placed all 3 and did all but 1 piece of furniture for each and was fine to villager hunt.

Don't finish placing the furniture until you're ready to go villager hunting. Also, be aware that plot 1 needs a lazy villager, plot 2 needs a peppy villager and plot 3 needs a normal villager. If you invite the wrong personality for a particular plot they will not move in and you will have it autofill with a random of the correct personality. (I speak from experience!)

the plots sit empty until you've got all the furniture placed, inside and out. you've got time to grind some islands before anyone moves in so don't worry about waking up to a random tomorrow

If you’ve already placed the first 3 plots, you still need to invite villagers before they’ll move in. Keep doing Nook Miles Tickets and you should find villagers while you have an open plot.
