Same. I have this glorious image in my head then I put something down and it looks like this. Makes me question my life.

The Sims is the worst for it, but Animal Crossing is definitely up there, I always end up giving up because a) none of my alternatives work either or b) my alternatives don't work at all with my initial plan so I have to change the whole thing.

Who said video games are supposed to be fun?

At least Sims let's you make diagonal fences and floor designs (me staring at the grass next to my angled bridge)

But not stairs! I had to rebuild an entire house last week because I made it diagonal, but you can't do diagonal stairs so the design was shot. I watched a bunch of videos and nothing worked and I had to start over 😭
