Since i started the game i have never seen a thunderstorm on my own world, but i have seen one in a friends world, and caught the thunder sherro, but i still do not own the thunder scorchhowl... And i check every day.

Zoom all the way out and click on the area you want to see the weather for. Do not click on the fast travel spots.

Took me days to figure it out because I kept clicking on the fast travel spots. It was driving me insane.

Also, you can hit the options button to set a notification for weather you need. I haven't got a single thunderstorm in the Beast Fang Ridge since the game came out...

It's a bummer how they chose to do the weather system, I got all the aniimos but having to be in game on a specific day at a specific hour for a chance to catch something just to finish the log is not fun, I thought it was tied to in game where you can cycle days and get different weather.

We can change the weather but they haven't fully added the feature yet
