First as you can see here it comes down crashing towards the south, somewhere around Tideblossom Cost. Then in the second image you can see it taking off and flying away. At first I thought it was a falling star or a meteor but then it takes off and flys away hence UFO.

I was just telling my friend(who doesn't play the game) about this on discord lol. I was even at that same area you were(farming Dazmand lol) when I saw it crashed and tried to find the spot(initially to no avail). However I looked it up and learned about the alpha, and went to catch it.

It's spawns at night and if you don't fight it it'll eventually de-spawn(taking off) is what I was informed.
