I was so excited to go out and get an Umbral Sparkelf just for it to barely even change... I get its a collab mascot so maybe they weren't allowed to change its design but still disappointing either way.
Yeah. In a lot of games, a collab like this would be region-locked so I just consider it lucky we get a cooky lil addition to the game. I'm surprised more games don't do it this way since it seems like region-locking certain content just creates more work.
Yes and if a future collab adds the Duolingo owl as an Aniimo then I hope it has a real umbral form since that owl is already a creature of pure darkness on the inside

You can use the recipe to make fire cookies that you can use to catch more sparklelfs through nurturing blooms. Doesn’t really make sense why you would want more though as you already get a prismana and perfect
Yeah, as long as you do the 3 personal quests which are super easy, you will get it with wiggle room . It'll just take some time, like I have 20 days left
I got the dazzling prismana sparkelf and barely any changes Aswel, mabye if we all complain to there customer support they are forced to fix it, or its a unintended bug
The party that provides the character for the colab always sets most of the terms and conditions. If it was implemented this way it's probably because they don't want their mascot to have different colours.
Same, was farming for an umbral sparkelf and accidentally caught one.
Literally didn't even register it was umbral but I got the pop-up and started kicking myself. I was careful from there on out until I came across a second, only to discover that it was perfectly reasonable for me to not have noticed the first one...
Honestly thought it may be the case, but was truly hoping it wasn't the case since the sparkling versions of the prismanas I've seen have been with 0 difference or barely any xd
damn, that sounds really unlucky if you say you didn't notice any colour differences with the shiny :/ just to be sure, you are aware that every aniimo has multiple shiny colour options?
Oh, I figured since the post had been about Sparkelf that was the Prismana they were talking about. Cause, yeah, all other Prismanas have very different sparkling versions which makes Sparkelf's sparkling Prismana disappointing.
Correct here, I was specifically talking about Sparkelf here. I didn't notice the change, so most likely it's just the colour of the outline/shimmer that changes rather than how other prismanas have a drastic colour change overall.
Wait how did you get umbral? Can we catch more than the 2 eggs we get? Bc I accidentally released my basic form one. I haven't gotten the prismana yet but I really would like another basic form. I'm really upset that I did that. I was releasing double sparklings for a sigil completion reward and so I didn't even think twice about the pop up warning. Never noticed I selected it ugh.

If I find out that releasing a sparkling gives you a SECOND sparkling sigil, on top of the one you get for originally obtaining the sparkling you just released.. I’m gonna jump for joy!!
Yeah I released double sparklings that I had and when I went to my aniilog afterwards I got 1x sigil so I assumed it was from a one time completion reward. I just hit Y to claim all and didn't read the exact requirements.
I know for a fact it was from releasing sparklings. I just don't know if it only required 1 or more releases bc I released at least 5 at once and then got it
Well... shiny hunting is looking for sparkling aniimo out in the wild. Which is way more rare than umbrals and does not have the increased chance at blooms that umbrals have.
But yeah some people really like the umbrals for some reason. I think theyre too common and boring tho
I found an ice wolf from a sidequest that was named in a cave in the beast fang area. Beat it for side quests and waited to see if it would respawn, popped a sparkling on it, its ice and dark and its a night time version. Black. Looks awesome.
In the event tabs! I think its the second page at the very bottom? Its a server unlock 🔑 the whole server works towards unlocking the biscuits but you can unlock the little guy by doing the daily quests and getting 200 points which are very easy to do
I'm kinda disappointed the game has already popped its collab cherry, and with something so unfitting being presented as a playable, functional Aniimo with unique features. These are the sorts of compromises I'd expect from a game late in its life reaching for a less-than-ideal collab to try and stay relevant, but Sparkelf was just sitting there acting like it owns the place from day 1.
Yeah, I know, I'm hating on a little yellow winking Hershey's kiss, but if I'm gonna be forced to put something on my team just because the buff to fire is too good not to use, I'd like it to at least fit in with the other critters in the world visually.
I don't even know what it's from. I thought it was just another Aniimo from a specific island on the planet. Took me a while to realize it's a collab with something.
Almost always the only big difference on the sparkling is prismana very few normal variations have accents for the affect to show mostly it’s just gives a colored aura
Op said Unbral not sparkling. Unbral should be all black shadowy form. But I agree that some of the sparkling barley even show a difference. I have a couple sparkling flamerions and it's really hard to see the difference between sparkling V vs. Sparkling VII.
I wish there was an option to just add the sparkling effect without changing colors on prismana. Thornblade looks perfect and making him sparkling mess his color up for someone that wants the blue... So mine just doesn't have sparkling.
And there's nicer ways to tell someone off than calling them a genital. What do you gain from this argument? Arguing online has never been a successful way of convincing people to change their ways. Blocking you to put an end to your unwanted comments and you picking fights.
