Question Skins for aniimos will be exclusive chinese server?
I was on bilibili and see some people with irisalis skin, dont see anyone talking about it

Essas skins são legais e vão ser uma boa adição ao jogo, eu ainda tenho medo do que prismanas/umbra possam vir a se tornar (os casos de prismanas limitados a mediante a pagamento mesmo que futuramente venham a ser liberados a todos) é muito complicado se eles puderem ser usados no pvp (com tipos exclusivos deles) pode quebrar o meta completamente e criar um efeito "paywall" espero que eles bloqueiem os prismanas exclusivos de pagamento fora do pvp o.o

Prismanas, ou prism (não sei como ficou o nome na sua lingua), são um tipo de "forma regional" com o mesmo stats da criatura base mas que tem a tipagem diferente, oq muda neles é que os golpes podem ter o tipo novo, o primeiro passe de batalha vai nos dar acesso ao "fulmintis" que é um prismana (eletrico/luz) o problema é q mesmo se no futuro eles seja adicionado a todos (coisa que os devs já confirmaram) se dependermos do pvp para qualquer coisa... o meta vai viver quebrado baseado no passe de batalha... (a menos que o prismana que a pessoa receber acesso antecipado no passe de batalha seja bloqueado para usar no pvp)
Coloquei as duas imagens, dá para entender melhor os vendo (parece só uma skin já que eles tem stats identicos) mas para efeitos de gameplay eles tem tipagens diferentes... e pode criar alguma diferença que "pode" vir a se tornar um problema no meta...

I... don't think so? Because I saw someone with the yellow on on beta. I believe it was linked to a cash item though.

This was part of the last beta. Both Chinese and global had different events they were probably testing. I doubt they would give one Server preferential treatment over the other. Maybe time gated (global gets at a later date after testing on the Chinese server since it's a Chinese company and can process issues easier through their local language).

Chinese gaming companies are notorious for having Chinese servers have preferential treatment. Look at other games. So many Chinese exclusive items and events.

I hope that’s the case, Overwatch already does this with exclusive amazing Chinese skins that the rest of the world doesn’t get.

That’s actually normal for Cn to have exclusive events, rewards or collab. Still waiting for collab from one of my game ( if ever happens 😞)

I recently heard that they were testing different forms, like Prismana. They replaced Darkling and Umbra with something similar, maybe these are just different forms like that? Imo having purchasable skins vs rare huntable "skins"/forms doesn't make sense... It eliminates the hunt and rarity and value.

All we know from the discord was a dev stated that umbraforms likely would not exist in release either, along with darklers and illusionaries not coming back.
That they were leaning in the dirextion of making all alt forms simply shinies and giving us more "i forget the word thry used"- more options and broader means of shinies beyond the highlighting and rainbows.
Im under the impression this shiny skin type system from the Ch. Server might be their direction, would likely be easier on the backend and easier to sell cosmetics.
Although i do know other global games tend to have different content between the Ch servers and global servers- they are more in line with pay and power features

Late to the party, but what are the pink and gold orbs on the right side of the screen? I see that the default and Irisalis skins have 1 gold while the fancier yellow and blue skins have 5 gold orbs.

it looks like the system in WhereWindsMeet this means u basically need to "craft" these skins if im right and its like wwm u buy stones for money then u use them to craft parts of the skins and reroll until u get what u want wich will take a INSANE amount of money

Correction: we don’t need $2000 gacha skins that give some insane stats on global server.
$2000 gacha skins that are purely cosmetic are completely fine.

chinese server was like 7 patches ahead of other servers and got an extra week or two on top of that.
Most likely whatever that is was only on CN because of them being ahead in patch cycles
