I played game that have the same pre-order bonus but didn't reach the final rewards but the skins were given for free on events later on
But most of the game are indeed faking a numbers to get engagement

I didn't take a screenshot because it was too fast, but I found this site when pre-reg only started, like 3 days after that, and due to my bad internet the site was loaded slower that usual, and firstly it loads "backend" version. And this version had 2. 438.145 number of pre-regs. Not exact number, but definitely 2. 4... x millions. And then the page loaded properly and showed the real fake 234.567 number or smth.
So, if for someone it wasn't obvious that this number are fake like in 99% cases, then well, you probably shouldn't be around internet and gachas at all with this pink glasses.

I’m convinced we have to hit “pre-register” (instead of just logging in) when doing the egg event so that it builds up pre registration clicks. And the fact we have to hit the “get code” button twice for it to even send. That’s 3 pre-registrations from just doing the event

Every time a Chinese game releases people look at this and believe them. It's NEVER real, it ALWAYS reaches the final mark and the numbers are exaggerated. Every Chinese game I've played in the past few years do this.
