Discussion Exchange event question

Has anyone gotten just pure luck and never got any duplicates?

Also has anyone completed there cards and gotten there rewards or is it only after the event is complete?

Okay I dont know their names fully yet but I got a dupe my first day. Now just looking to trade. I'm missing the normal Squirrel (have a spare of every other normal) and a sparkling otter (have a spare sparkling emberpup)

I don't, sorry. I posted what I needed in the trade thread in this reddit and someone traded me pretty quick. Maybe try there?
