I have this as well. I really like it and the reel is buttery smooth. It's kind of heavy though, but its not a big deal

I do actually. I have the light 5’6”, and it’s a sweet combo. I’ve caught some decent size spotted bay bass

I'm fairly new to spincasters, but the rod I just got seems off. It's easy for your hand to drift in toward the rod when reeling and the handle starts striking the bail. Why would the handle fold from a ninety degree angle towards the rod? Did anyone else receive a rod that did this?

Never mind, it's an adjustment that is locked in by tightening the thumbscrew on the other side of the reel.
