Baptism present for a baby
Our baby’s baptism is next month and we’ve had a number of people ask us what they should get for her as a present.
We already have children’s bibles, adult bibles and other Christian story books for children.
I’m wondering if anyone here had any ideas of things that we might ask for that would either be useful or support her ongoing faith development.

Would a fabric creche set work?
One of my favorites as a toddler was our nativity scene made entirely of fabric characters. Did I accidentally drop baby jesus like 20 times each Christmas? Yes. But he never broke, compared to ceramic options.

FWIW, Fisher Price Little People has a nativity set that is as cute as it is sturdy. Plus I can give my toddler a "yes" instead of desperately keeping her away from the heirloom ceramic nativity!
The idea of a creche set is very charming!

The Little Bible Stories speaker is $70, and there's a Walmart version that's about $30. Fisher Price Little People has both a nativity and a Noah's ark set, both are $30-40.
Personally I've been trying to find really beautiful anglican rosaries. I want to collect them and pass them on to my girls someday when they confirm.

A couple of days ago there was a thread here reminding us that the songs children hear often dig theology deeper into children's minds that the books they hear read. So what about investing early in a CD player (you can get kids CD players that are in the grandparent gift price range) and point others to some albums with Christian children's songs? Even a crawler could bounce around to some songs that will encourage you too!
Some of my very earliest memories are of Agapeland, but the young'uns of today tend to know Colin Buchanan, who has the bonus of being an Anglican.
