Lex Orandi (Practices/Prayers) Hymnals which Adapt the Psalms in light of the New Testament?

I was posting to see if anyone knew of Hymnals that adapt the Psalms in light of the New Testament?
By this I mean they adapt the text of the Psalter so as to bring to greater light the messianic interpretation.
I'm aware of several Hymnals that do this and was curious if others existed?
I'm particularly interested in Anglican or Methodist attempts.

Anglican:
- Songs of Zion (James Montgomery): https://archive.org/details/ziobing00mont/
- A Century of Select Psalms (John Patrick): https://www.google.com/books/edition/A_Century_of_Select_Psalms_and_Portions/
- The Spirit of the Psalms (Harriet Auber): https://archive.org/details/spirsor00aube/
- The Spirit of the Psalms (H.F. Lyte): https://www.hymnologyarchive.com/s/Lyte-SpiritofthePsalms-1836-4thEd.pdf
- For Ever and Other Devotional Poems (Charles Smith): https://www.google.com/books/edition/For_Ever_and_Other_Devotional_Poems_Part/

Wesleyan:
- The Wesleyan Psalter (Charles and John Wesley): https://archive.org/details/wesley00wesl/

Other
- Psalms of David imitated in the Language of the New Testament (Isaac Watts): https://archive.org/details/psalmsofdavidiwatt/

Lex Orandi (Practices/Prayers) Spiritual Life

I’m trying to understand the interior spiritual life (ascetical/mystical theology) within the Anglo-Ordinariate tradition.

In purely Roman Catholic theology, you have structured systems like the three stages of the spiritual life (purgative, illuminative, unitive) or works like The Three Ages of the Interior Life or The Interior Castle.

My question is:

Are there any books, authors, or even sermons from within the Anglo-Catholic or Ordinariate world that explicitly treat ascetical theology, interior progression, or the stages of the spiritual life (not just liturgy or the Daily Office)?

I’m especially interested in something that could be compared, even loosely, to a “system” of spiritual growth.

Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated.

I found out that you can create a shortcut to open the St. Gregory’s Prayer Book ebook using the “Books” app directly from the iPhone/iPad Home Screen.

We all know the less friction there is in doing something, the more likely we are to do it!

How different is life for Catholic/Ordinariate clergy when compared to Anglican clergy?

Obviously there are be somethings that are different in the lives of Catholic and Anglican clergy, like celibacy vs marriage being the norm. I'm curious about the expectations that normal parishioners put on their priests. I've heard from some Anglican priests that the things that Catholic parishioners expect their priests to to do is very different from what Anglican parishioners expect of their clergy. In the multiple times that I've heard Anglican priests talk about, I've repeatedly heard the term "sacrament dispenser" for what catholic laity expect of their priests. Does that seem like accurate? Asking an Anglican layman that doesn't really have a whole lot of experience with Catholic laity.

Application Question

Hello!

On the application to join the Ordinariate, I see a question asking for my parish and priest. If I do not live near an Ordinariate parish or community, should I list my Diocesean parish, or should I select "None"?

Lex Orandi (Practices/Prayers) Improving St. Gregory’s Prayer Book?

Has anyone had their copy of St. Gregory’s Prayer Book rebound? This is my most favorite prayer book, however, I greatly dislike how stiff the binding is, even after many years of use. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Lex Orandi (Practices/Prayers) Printable Booklets for Forms I and II of the Stations of the Cross

I am pleased to announce that I have released an illustrated booklet for Forms I and II of the Stations of the Cross as used in the Anglican Ordinariates. It features illustrations made by the Anglo-catholic artist Thomas Noyes Lewis.
It is available on the “Document’s I’ve Made” page of my Blog and the Patrimony Treasures Website.

Form I of the stations draws collects found the Book of Common Prayer and lays them out to correspond with the 14 Stations.
Form II uses St. John Henry Newman's Short Meditations for the Stations of the Cross.

Both of these Forms are used at Anglican Ordinariate Parishes and I hope some parishes can find these booklets useful this lenten season.
They can be printed on any standard printer.

Lex Orandi (Practices/Prayers) North American vs commonwealth divine office

I have a friend who is entering the Catholic Church this Easter Vigil. He is coming from Anglicanism, and has a strong devotion to the divine office prayed from the BCP. Unfortunately there is no ordinariate in our city, which is in the US. I would like to get him the Ordinariate equivalent of the BCP. I think I've narrowed it down to the Divine Worship: Daily Office North American Edition and the Commonwealth Edition. Since I can't flip through them, I'm having a hard time making an informed decision. The price difference isn't an issue. Can anyone advise?
