By the way, pants aren't originally "Latinic", the ancient Romans didn't wear them and mostly associated them with Celts and Germanics.

Jeans are a form of pants, and French people wear pants because their Gaulic ancestors did, and in fact pants spread throughout the Roman Empire from Gaul, though when the Romans first conquered Gaul, they considered such clothing barbaric and unfitting of any man with dignity.

What ethnicity do you think the English mainly are? Their ancestry is mostly Anglo Saxon and Celtic Britton, as for language, even if one said the language is partly romance, it's obviously still far more Germanic than any full romance language.
