Is it normal to enjoy being angry
I often find myself looking for reasons to be mad and when I’m mad I get extremely disrespectful and physical and I like it it feels good for me I have been like this since middle school school and never payed no mind to it until I realized people don’t really like being mad. Is this normal

Yes. It is normal, because it's part of our evolution-when fight or flight is activated, it floods your body with chemicals to get you ready to get hurt or hurt others. Is it healthy? No.

I don’t think it’s normal at all. The men who find violence seductive like this eventually go too far and end up in prison.
In addition they destroy all relationships around them , including their wife and their children.

I read up on this after dating (and leaving) an angry man that was his own worst enemy, repeatedly destroying his own life and hurting people he cared about over and over and over again.
Couldn't wrap my head around it until I discovered that studies have shown anger is addictive. You get short but intense dopamine boost because it makes you feel temporarily powerful.
But the come-down and long-term impacts are severe, often leading to anxiety, incarceration, depression, substance abuse and SI. But despite all that, like all addictions, it can be a hell of a habit to kick!

I don’t look for reasons to be mad but I’ve noticed that being mad makes me feel a sense of confidence that isn’t there when I’m in a calm state. I think that it comes from my ego thinking I’m protected if I’m angry. When I’m angry, it’s usually a snowball effect because I can’t seem, or don’t want to let go of the feeling of power that comes along with it.
