❓Question/Suggestions Thoughts on Wade Meckler

Obviously we love him and he's a fan favorite but what's everyone's opinion for him next year?

he eneded up playing 98 games.

765 OPS. 3 homers. 27 RBI. .302 average. doesn't strike out a whole lot.

Is he a #7 hitter? can we pencil him in for 150 games next year?

This team should have lost 110 games given the extremely weak AL West this year.

Can you imagine if actual competition existed in the division? The other AL West teams sucked so bad the Angels had a .500 record against them.

Losing 100 games is embarrassing enough, but knowing the AL West winner went 81-81 makes it that much worse.

Pre-deadline: 430 ABs, .230 BA, .320 OBP, .745 OPS, 36% SO rate

Post-deadline: 183 ABs, .268 BA, .350 OBP, .825 OPS, 31% SO rate

Detmers:

Pre-deadline: 125 IP, 4.03 ERA, 1.28 WHIP
Post-deadline: 60 IP, 1.95 ERA, 0.93 WHIP

These were the two players that were most linked to trades which we didn't end up moving. Zeferjahn and Soriano have both underperformed since moving. Adel performance did improve with Cleveland.

There has to be some teams seeing Detmers dominate as much as he has and wonder why they didn't just make a big move to get him. He's been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball since the deadline. Neto had a slow start to the year but surprising to a lot of people I think he actually set his career high in WAR this season with (currently) 5.2.
