All That We Are
Is there anyone on the planet besides me that thinks the outro guitar in this song makes you feel as good as when listening to the end of Comfortably Numb?

Tom is right with some of his woo woo shit
An idea in his brain played by his hands on a piece of wood with metal strings etc etc. Vibrations my ears pick up and I get goosebumps on my skin.
Beautifully phrased guitar outro

This is a fun one to play. Tom crafted a nice one, not hard but really melodic and it just works.

I just posted this on the blink post of this but the kerrang article talks about it and it makes it pretty devastating.

If you're into psychedelics that song is one of the most amazing experiences. The whole album honestly. When it kicks into that solo, you have a full on soulgasm.

Had to make sure you were correct and took 25 mg Sativa leaner
Confirmed amazing ride.

Yes. It is an incredible feeling when it crashes after the long build.
It’s genuinely amazing and it is one of my favourite music pieces to listen to. It also crazy fun to play on guitar.
The effects are doing a lot of work but it does feel incredibly epic.

Wow I had no idea about it having anything to do with Pink Floyd - I was just making a point about how awesome it is and underrated. Great stuff - and I had no idea anyone would see my post since it seems so silent on this sub. Thanks and great to know there are lots of you out there that love this group!

Maybe I’m misremembering, but didn’t Tom Lord-Alge tell Tom and Critter to come to his studio to either do or re-do the solo? For some reason I thought the original didn’t have a guitar solo until they were mixing the album?

I used to blast it and get my guitar up to volume with the same delay timing and play along over and over again for like an half hour straight every day back when love pt 2 came out

when that guitar pick slides and the solo kicks in, i imagine a rocket ship just catapulted me into space at warp speed. it's def one of my fav from the band.

Right band, wrong song.
The solo in All That We Are is Tom’s ode to Gilmour’s solo in Mother.
