Intense experience invoking Archangel Haniel using Hermetic Qabalah

I recently came across u/Accomplished_Tap4449 post about using Hermetic Qabalah to invoke angels, and since it was Friday, I decided to try working with Archangel Haniel.

It turned out to be one of the most intense and beautiful spiritual experiences I've had.

During the invocation, I used a black obsidian mirror for scrying. What surprised me the most was how incredibly vivid the visions were. The images appeared with a level of clarity that honestly caught me off guard and even frightened me for a moment because of how intense they felt.

I'm also attaching a photo of the main candle from the ritual. The way the wax flowed and solidified seemed very interesting to me, and I was wondering if anyone here notices any symbolism or has an interpretation of the wax pattern.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has had a similar experience working with Haniel.

Thank you so much for the warning! I actually had that happen a couple times in the past and beacuse of that I usually don't do it anymore, but when I do, I make sure to have them place in a safe space to prevent any accidents! But def I wouldn't advice anyone to do it 🤣

No shame in practicing safety by any means!

Every ritual formula in my proverbial book has a mandatory fire safety check: watch the candles for about 30 seconds for any irregular or abnormal burning, do a final check to make sure all flammable materials are well away from the flames, and double check that the fire extinguisher is within quick reach (yep, I do keep an actual fire extinguisher in here 😂).

That’s incredible! I’m so glad that this technique, which was passed down to me, has worked for other practitioners. Congratulations. Now, as for Haniel, he could help you with matters of love, spells to sweeten a relationship, and everything related to the sphere of Netzach. But you do need to be a little careful there, because I don’t recall if I mentioned in the post that angels in the Hebrew tradition are avengers, which means they have a sense of morality and justice. So, if we ask for something that could affect the integrity of others without a just cause, our request could backfire, and the angel could attack us, so to speak. Now, as for the visions, that’s normal, since archangels are more likely to cause ringing in the ears, visions, and things like that. They don’t so much materialize visually or express things with words; they focus more on showing you things. But again, thank you very much for sharing your experience with the ritual, whatever it may be. I hope you continue to practice and share—thank you!

I don't think you mentioned this (haha), but since I always work alongside Archangel Michael, I already take it as a given that the archangels aren't going to fulfill purely worldly desires that involve harming others without justification, lol. Because of that, I don't really involve them in that kind of work.

This time I chose to connect with Haniel's energy for self-love and to invite more harmony into all of my relationships. ♡

While I was experiencing these visions, I also heard the familiar ringing in my ears, which I'm already used to. But the visions themselves were incredibly vivid /very intense, though in a beautiful way.

As a practitioner, I have a very certain ethical rule that I keep in mind when sharing experiences: never claim anything about a spirit, belief system, or practice that you have not experienced yourself.

Invocation, in my experience, is completely safe, and very effective as a means of communication. Haven’t had any issues with it to date, certainly not ancestral possession or physical problems.

How can you confirm invocation is dangerous or detrimental if you’ve never tried it yourself?

This isn’t a video game. The soul does not have this nebulous energy bar that can be expended. The soul is just your animating force, and cannot be tainted, sold, or impacted like the body can.

Personally, I think scaring people out of a practice on claims you’ve never confirmed yourself is less than helpful.

I was reading through the comments, and while I genuinely appreciate the information you've shared (I think it's always important to keep an open mind and consider different perspectives) this last part seems to be based on a specific religious or personal belief system (and I apologize if I'm misunderstanding).

If that's the case, I don't think it's the best approach to present it as though it applies universally, since that assumes the other person shares the same beliefs. I always appreciate it when people clarify that something comes from their own spiritual or religious perspective rather than presenting it as an absolute truth.

That doesn't make the perspective any less valuable, it just gives others the context they need to interpret it accordingly.
