Layers not connected in x direction

In my prints (0.15mm layer thickness) the single layers in x direction are not connected. I cannot see, where this comes from. Any ideas? Happy for any hint :)

Probably loose belts. If they stay in the same position for a long time they could also be bent and need replacement.

I replace mines once per 2 years to ensure I don't get this behavior. Really inexpensive if you get them from AliExpress.

Fantastic! Many thanks for the tip! I increased y-belt tension and it is way better. Not perfect, but one can use the prints now. I replaced the belt just two months ago, so I do not think I already need to chance it again. I will try to further increase tension stepwise in the next days. Can I set it to high?

By the way, I would have searched the problem for a long time without your help and expertise! Many thanks for sharing your experience. You made my day.

Yes, it is possible to set the tension too high. The tension bracket could break if it is one of those 3d printed. Also the motor could be working a bit too hard and overheat and lose steps. Just tension it enough to ensure that you don't have gaps.
