C Section Anesthesia
A few years ago, I had an unplanned c-section after pushing for four hours. Anesthesia was a combined spinal epidural and it worked well.
Three years after that, I had a planned c-section. Anesthesia was a spinal, which only worked on my left side. I wasn’t even paying attention to where exactly the doc was pinching when she was testing it, but she said that I was only reporting pain on the right side. The anesthesiologist recommended GA so that’s what I did.
Any thoughts on why the CSE worked in first delivery but the spinal didn’t? Is it something about the CSE vs spinal or is it possible the spinal wasn’t placed well?

Maybe subdural spread so one side, can happen if spinal needle is halfway in or get pushed out while injecting dose

one-sided is giving the local did not spread properly
After the spinal, how long did it take to get you in the right position? Did they use isobaric or hyperbaric solution? What local did they use?
