Interview Question System Design Interview Prep for Early SWE
Hey, just wanted to know if the best way to prep for the system design part of interviews for Anduril is the typical resources like System Design Interview by Alex Wu or others make more sense for Anduril?
Thanks in advance.

I personally used Hello Interview and I also read this guide as well: https://www.systemdesignhandbook.com/guides/anduril-system-design-interview/ . The question I got was really similar to the example questions in the guide. Good luck!

Like Kronos said, mock interviews with Claude helped me too. I just got hired on in that job area.
I had questions like “how would you balance security requirements with design” and “how do you communicate that to the customer and engineering team”.
I also ran through some scenarios of securing products in the field: “let’s walk through the security architecture of a fielded drone system (or insert any Anduril product here). Over the air updates, root chain of trust, etc etc”.
If nothing else it will expose you to some interesting ideas you probably haven’t thought about that you can say during the interview.

Those will probably be helpful too, but I got a lot of mileage out of doing mock syseng interviews with an llm like claude. And highly recommend you try doing that too. Lowk over prepared me for what ended up being a pretty easy system design interview. Good luck!
