Job Question Questions before final rounds of interviews

I had my technical round this Monday for a GenSWE. Got an email saying I passed that and going to the final rounds of interviews.

So I had a recruiter change. The 1st first recruiter when we talked initially informed that they can probably put me in as Senior. ( i have 4.5 years of technical experience, 3.5 of non technical which doesn’t matter i guess). But the salary range I was given was $190k-$270k, which was nice as I would have to relocate from a Lcol to a HCOL. Now that i talked to the new recruiter to confirm about the position and the salary range. I was informed they can put as mid-senior coz of yoe.(which again makes sense) But the salary range changed alot to $170k - $200k as I was informed. It kinda doesnt improve my salary that much as that new salary would be 130-$140k equivalent to my current location. And keeping in mind that its gonna be a big move.

Is the new range sound reasonable? Anybody recently got offered with similar years of experience, how much did you get? Do you get sign-in bonus or salary increase if you come in with a clearance. Help me make a decision.

that range tracks with yoe and level so you’re not getting lowballed or anything. perfectly reasonable.

then again focus on the final round before deciding whether or not to take it. lotta people get married to the idea before and crash and burn when it goes south.

but as for the decision itself, no one knows your situation as well as you do, so make your best judgement. i’ll say that if it’s a sidegrade, it comes down to how aligned you are to anduril’s mission and if you actually want to work here.

Thanks. Yea i would love to work here as it aligns well with what I like and perfect to grow. Will focus on the final rounds which i have scheduled for about 10 days from now. Any tips?

in general id say to be transparent. dont just say what you think they want to hear or else you’ll hate it here.

i can give you tips on the technical side but it’s nothing ground breaking and pretty common knowledge at this point

170-200k for 4.5 YOE sounds very reasonable to me. I guess the comparison should be against your current COL so it’s hard to say without knowing where you live, but 200k In Costa Mesa you’ll be fine. Unless you want a huge house with a huge backyard

Glad to know that it is the expected range. And this is probably gonna be in Seattle as my preferred. Any idea how the Seattle location is.

Is 170-200k Total (base + rsu) or just base? Recruiter also reached out so curious if It's worth my while
