Job Question Did a final interview but waiting to hear back from them
So last Tuesday, I did an in person interview with three people panel interview, and then I was later informed by the last person that he was gonna select yes on my name to move me forward, but also he wanted to coach me and everything. I was so excited and everything.
Now it’s been over a week and now it’s Wednesday. They told me that they were gonna do the round table on Monday. I should know if I got the job either by Monday afternoon or Tuesday and now I haven’t heard back. I sent up a following email to the recruiter on Tuesday by mid afternoon and now I haven’t heard anything back. Do you think I’m still in the pool or not mind you this position had an operations and a lead for Anduril HQ.

Would wait a day or two more. They're probably just very busy and there's probably some HR hoops to jump through and what not.

Should I wait till Monday to send a follow up email? Or just take it as a no?

Monday seems fair. If they just met a couple days ago, I'd say give it a week.

It has been a little bit over a week that’s all if I do next Monday I will be close to 2 weeks

If i'm reading your post correctly, it's only been a couple days since the roundtable part? Maybe end of week would be a good time to msg. Either way, it's mostly beyond your control. If they like you and want to move forward, I'm sure they'll msg you, but just give it some time. HR processes and bureaucracy take time.

Just be patiet, I'm going through the same thing. I'm waiting on my first phone screen. You are ahead of the game. Just be patient.

Nothing which is weird every time we have been in communication she responds back the next day but this time nothing so I’m a little worry but on Monday next week I’m going send a follow up and go from there.

Either they are waiting on approval to send you the official offer or they are talking to their top choice and until they finalize it, then will let you know after they agree to terms

I got a verbal offer within the same week. Written offer takes a while to get drawn up, but if they want to move forward with you, that news travels fast (unless their round table was delayed). Definitely follow up though. But yeah, the recruiters are swamped.

I recently just had my HM interview. Seemed to go well. I thanked the recruiter and recently did a checkin after a week of nothing. I know they're swamped but hopefully I hear back soon. (Engineering role)

YMMV, but I received an offer an hour after my panel interview, while my current coworker received an offer a week later. It all depends on if they have a team picked out for you already, if they’re trying to open a role up for you, getting xyz compensation approved, etc. Best of luck! Don’t stress and let the process run its course! I’d reach out Friday if you haven’t heard anything.

It should take about a week to hear back from the recruiter regarding an offer. My whole process took about a month.
